The Perioperative Technicians and Technologists Association (POTTA KENYA) was established in 2019 with the mission of ensuring quality patient care.
Today, POTTA Kenya is proud to acknowledge more than 1000 Registered members and represents the interests of more than 3000 practitioners nationwide. POTTA legislatively advocates for practitioner recognition and employment and committed to students as the future of the profession.

Objectives
Unite all Peri-Operative Technician and Technologist trained and certified in Peri- Operative Theater Technology (POTT) nationally: We
1) Bring together and co-ordinate members in all counties in the country.
2) Recruit and _ register members as per the guidelines of this constitution and the law.
3) Regulate the activities and welfare of members as per this constitution and the law.
4) Support training of members through organized seminars, workshops or conferences facilitated by consultants/consultancies, training agencies/institutions and other partners.
5) Participate during the training and licensing process of cadre by playing any role as when called upon by relevant authorities.
6) Advise Peri-Operative Theater Technology (POTT) learners and trainers, cadre members, policy makers, governments, employers, public and private agencies or institutions and other stakeholders on professional obligations: and criteria best suitable before, during and when training or hiring and engaging POTT learners and cadre members as per the law.
7) Participate in and safeguard the general welfare of members as guided in this constitution.
8) Issue membership practice cards, identification tools and official documents as required by the cadre members and the law.
9) Create awareness and enlighten/educate members and the public about relevant matters as per the law.
